I am trying to determine is there are any definite timing differences between the PAL and NTSC versions. I've searched here and a few other forums, but I can't find someone who knows what they are doing or has the right equipment, to know for sure.

So, for example, if someone holds a GT4 time trial challenge and a mixture of players from around the world enter, with there be a significant/noticeable difference based on which version is used? I have participated in mixed time trials before, but nothing definitive answer could be gleaned from the results, but I would like feedback from a bigger group.

I know that even Prologue posts variable times for some drivers at the end of a race, too, but that involves on-line.

Cheers,

MasterGT

No differences in timing. Only certain cars aren't exactly the same in both versions. I know the Viper GTS-R is faster in NTSC for example, but it's only a handful of cars that are different.

Aren't there some target times that are different as well? (Gold, Silver and Bronze times, for example.)

Thanks, Hugo Boss. Knowing what the other known cars are would be nice, too.

XtremeD63: Mission or other preset events are a different case. Mission 34, for example.
